Benson's idea about brain is one to ponder, perhaps dandelions' brains are quite different from human ones.

Since I was a child I've always liked to find one of those, blow on it, and watch it scatter.

This what a friend wrote when she clicked a pic of a dying dandelion and a new one :)

But I was a young fledgling
Not long ago
Just like you,
Years have caught up
And
Life has dragged me down
Such are the thoughts
As I prepare to
End my journey
And finally
Rest
For Eternity...

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
