Madeleine has a noticeable (and eye catching) birth defect in her right eye pupil - not obvious in this picture. It looks like the black of her pupil has run into the rest of her eye - like a tear drop.

I was never able to look at old photos. I still don't think I can.
I find it easier to look at Photos of Mick prior 2005; although I can get tearful they remind me of the happy times. It's the photos of Mick so ill that I can no longer view.
