What a great quote! I've just turned 40 (what a landmark!) less than two months ago and I just can't believe that this happened!

What a beautiful photograph. I thought I knew all of your blogs but I missed this one. Thank you for the kind mention today and for the fav on technorati.

I have done the same and grabbed your feed here so I can keep up!

I was never able to look at old photos. I still don't think I can.

I find it easier to look at Photos of Mick prior 2005; although I can get tearful they remind me of the happy times. It's the photos of Mick so ill that I can no longer view.

Wonderful quotation, beautiful photo. The love just radiates out from it.

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
