Gorgeous! Here's another way of thinking at the end of a bad day: "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof". In other words each day is followed by a brand new clean one.
I watch the sunrise lighting the sky, Casting its shadows near. And on this morning bright though it be, I feel those shadows near me. But you are always close to me Following all my ways. May I be always close to you Following all your ways, Lord.
I watch the sunlight shine through the clouds, Warming the earth below. And at the mid-day, life seems to say: I feel your brightness near me. For you are always . . .
I watch the sunset fading away, Lighting the clouds with sleep. And as the evening closes its eyes, I feel your presence near me. For you are always . . .
I watch the moonlight guarding the night, Waiting till morning comes. The air is silent, earth is at rest Only your peace is near me. Yes, you are always .
Beautiful photo! I don't know if you saw the comment I left on David's blog yesterday. I was rolling on the floor when I read what you had written about the wedding!
Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

Madeleine has a noticeable (and eye catching) birth defect in her right eye pupil - not obvious in this picture. It looks like the black of her pupil has run into the rest of her eye - like a tear drop.

One of my favourite songs we sing in school...
I watch the sunrise lighting the sky,
Casting its shadows near.
And on this morning bright though it be,
I feel those shadows near me.
But you are always close to me
Following all my ways.
May I be always close to you
Following all your ways, Lord.
I watch the sunlight shine through the clouds,
Warming the earth below.
And at the mid-day, life seems to say:
I feel your brightness near me.
For you are always . . .
I watch the sunset fading away,
Lighting the clouds with sleep.
And as the evening closes its eyes, I feel your presence near me.
For you are always . . .
I watch the moonlight guarding the night,
Waiting till morning comes.
The air is silent, earth is at rest
Only your peace is near me.
Yes, you are always .

Hubbard tells a truth. I like to think about what I'll do the next day when I'm closing my eyes each night.
very precious sunset, Ruth :)
Hi I don't know the song, but I love the RED sky and I live always 'as if it is my last day' or inother words 'I enjoy life'
JoAnn :)
Beautiful shot.I like the colors and contrasts.
I had to see one more photo before I go to work and it's lovely. Where do you get your quotations?
