Lucky you to have silliness in your life. I have to look around for a while to find the same in my sober world.

Thanks Ruth! We all need a little silliness now and then.

Spluttering with laughter - for the pic, for the whole, increasingly bizarre concept of the Eurovison Song Contest (sic. , it's hardly a contest anymore, is it?) & for Wogan's take on it. Brill! BTW, I had no idea he is now a Sir. Since when? Isn't he an Irish national, like Sir Bob Geldof? So he didn't get to receive the blade from HMQE2? Pity!

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
