“I feel sorry for people who don't drink.

When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.”

I chuckled at this old joke. It reminded me of another in a similar vein..
A woman looked at the man beside her and said with disgust..
"You're drunk..!"
"Thash right"..he said,
"and you're ugly, but I'll be sober in the mornin'"
Blue and I had you all in our thoughts today..hugs
xx

For some of us though it doesn't make us feel good.....!Headache material....!
Now a nice glass of IPA on a hot dry day.....wonderful!

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
