“Once in your life, whatever he was to the world, he becomes everything to you.

When you look him in the eyes, traveling to the depths of his soul,

and you say a million things without a sound,

you know that your own life is inevitably consumed within”

Ruth, as you may have noticed I am taking a break. I do check in on my favourites though...xx
I have to comment here, I don't have the words to express what I want to say, but this poem says most of it. Love to you both...xx

"Bitterness imprisons life; love releases it. Bitterness paralyzes life; love empowers it. Bitterness sours life; love sweetens it. Bitterness sickens life; love heals it. Bitterness blinds life; love anoints its eyes."
~ Harry Emerson Fosdick

This photo was actually taken yesterday (Tuesday). It is so rare to see Mick now with his eyes really open so was a very special moment and so glad I managed to capture it. Shows what a bit of sunshine can do! I Love the poem Sheila; thanks for sharing it with me and thanks for classing me as a favourite.

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
