Madeleine has a noticeable (and eye catching) birth defect in her right eye pupil - not obvious in this picture. It looks like the black of her pupil has run into the rest of her eye - like a tear drop.

My husband thinks just like Dag Hammarskjold. He's always telling me to look up as we walk along. I keep telling him I'm looking for the unexpected find along the way (and I have found some marvelous things).
