Actually, I think when children pretend to be someone else, it is quite inspirational and educational.

Sorry anonymous.

What a cute little superman!

I agree Annie...the fantasies of childhood are magical; I'm sure the "anon" was alluding more to the adult world and the "airs and graces" that some people put on.

Lol for quite some time one of my daughters insisted she was Mathew and would get upset if she was called by her proper name...Strangely enough, years on, her partner and love of her life is called Matty...lol

Very true quote

I don't wish I was someone else! I just wish I was thinner, that my eyes weren't wonky, I didn't have such big feet etc etc!!!! lol!!

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
