Life's really a bit of a battle for everyone
and the punctuation of happy, joyful times together
are too precious to be clouded over.

He certainly provoked my thoughts. What is he like? What is he on about? I bet he wouldn't know a cloud if it hit him in the face, IMHO. But then, what do I know? I've looked at clouds from both sides now.......

Libby;may your grey days lessen in number as the season turns.
LilyM;glad you popped over from I.O.W.
Icarus; Milestones is a somewhat comlex character, probably too complex for a simple soul as yourself to understand. These words were written 23/12/2006, two days before Christmas; I find them as pertinent now as they were then.

Words so true and so worth remembering. Do you not think this Milestone fellow has a great mind conversing with a deeply caring heart. x

And now Ruth I can hear the song, its lovely, very moving, poignant.

Did you take this incredible photo, even grey has its beauty, lovely quality to that sky, the light rising at the bottom of the picture..

Yes I must agree with you about Milestones; I think that Icarus when he commented "What is he on about" may not fully appreciate the depths of emotion that some of Milestones' words can bring to the hearts of women; yet Milestones is a man also..........strange eh!...lol
And yes the photo was taken in our garden last year.

Icarus; please do not be offended...be assured that I love and respect you exactly equally as much as I love and respect Milestones. To me you are no more and no less the man he is; no more and no less the kind, compassionate soul that he is; no more and no less the dearest friend I could have.

Oh..alright then. He just got my goat and I guess I want it back.
So, let's exchange lots of hugs instead. And I wish I still had a West Highland White like yours...(((((((xxx)))))))

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
