Sometimes one just wants to drift away on the ocean. Now, when I feel like that, I'll just remind myself I am part of an ocean already.

The ocean is in all of us.
I read a similar quote once,
something like,
If you put rocks in the water, it is still water...if you put mud in the water it is still water.

Makes sense!

BTW any advice on how a novice with a little camera can take non blurry photos without flash (which reflects off of everything) indoors without any special equipment....gratefully received!!

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
