Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

This little chap appears to be missing a leg? Or is it just the way the photo was taken..?
I was going to make a play on words about getting a leg over, but I have decided to be more ladylike..
;)

I think part of one of his legs was missing Sheila. Didn't seem to hamper him though as he flitted around the living room. He landed just by where I sit at my computer and posed so nicely for this photo.
Your photgraphs are great, Ruth, and your macro ones are splendiferous!
the pic and quote are blended so well, Ruth!
Its incredible that you keep coming up with such splendid shots and quotes Ruth, a real credit to your creative talents and imagination..
Sheila being ladylike?
I laughed out loud at that!
