“We can never judge the lives of others,

because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation.

It's one thing to feel that you are on the right path,

but it's another to think that yours is the only path.”

Ruth, I was looking to see if you were the one who tagged Denise for the 8 random facts but I can't find your facts. You really do have some beautiful photos and nice writing on your blogs.

I'd love a walk along this lane.
Great quote and an excellent reason for not envying others. Be content we what we have, it could always be worse, even though at times we would find it hard to believe.

Gorgeous photo and a brilliant quotation. I'll now have to go read Paulo Coelho, who has somehow escaped me until now.

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
