Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

A good quote Ruth!
So tue in today's culture!
I like the quote Ruth. What happened to yesterday when all of these things were not even a dim memory?
I have some good news:
The three baby robins are on their way to Meet the World. I miss them already. It was quite an emotional experience.

This quote is so true. There are no secrets, it's all out there if we know where to look..!
This is one of the saddest things about the current US administration - it has worked quickly to dismantle lots of privacy guarantees. I didn't realize the same thing had happened in GB, but I guess I should have realized that, Ruth.
lovely. Thank you
So very true!
Sometimes I wonder about the sharing of information, at times its witheld to the disadvantage of the vulnerable and almost feels as if it protects the perpetrators of various kinds of abuse, fraud etc..feels like something went wrong somewhere..
In the "olden" days it was enough to put things on the fire that we didn't want anyone to read. Nowadays that is almost impossible as so few have fires indoor.
