“Even as wisdom often comes from the mouths of babes,

so does it often come from the mouths of old people.

The golden rule is to test everything in the light of reason and experience,

no matter from where it comes.”

~Mohandas Gandhi~

Such a nice sentiment. I couldn't be with my family on Easter Day but I did spend the day with my neighbor.

Even with everything thats going on in your life you still find time to visit blogs! I wonder how people fit it all in, its so much easier in winter when the call of the garden isn't quite so strong! Plus the call of hubby on holiday, eldest home from Uni plus boyfriend and youngest struggling with course work and studying!!!
I do play catch up when I get here though!!!

Ghandi was a wise man. An open mind is a wonderful thing to have.

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
