Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

A lovely set of scales and weights and your quote is as always very fitting :o)
I can see this...did you do something different..?
The saying is very true...I've often found that those who are the most critical are that way to make themselves feel superior.
IMHO..!
I moved the Rinpoche quote to the bottom from the side bar but don't think that would have made a difference. I did put a question on the Google/blogger help group though; maybe the Blogger King saw it and put right whatever was wrong? Glad you'll be able to keep up to date now.
Love the scales Ruth, lot of truth in this saying too. Have a good day
More wise words!!
nice photo ruth!!
Great scales! Have a super day!
Very nice photo and quote! I enjoy your blog.
I agree entirely with Sheila. There are few common faults worse in the human condition than judgementalism. It those blind to their own faults, weaknesses & imperfections who are always the most likely to resort to easy judgemntalism. I hate it and I can think immediately of one or two people too near me who need to think about this quote. Trouble is, I've tried & tried and got nowhere with them. They cannot change. It hurts me & hurts them, without their ever accepting it. Carry on! XXXXXXXX
Very profound!
I was told years ago...that if you point a finger at someone else you always have three pointing back at you. I try to remember that every day!
Love it!
Worth weighting for!
LOL
Dx
I'm glad you all appreciated the quote...Mrs N...LOL nice one!
